Make that two attempted robberies and attacks in two consecutive nights: Wednesday – in the back of Loew"s Theatre just across PATH station; Thursday -at the intersection of Corbin Avenue and Pavonia Avenue, north-west of Journal Square.

Back of Loew"s Theatre: "…A man broke the driver"s side window of a car with his fist and then punched the driver in the face during an attempted robbery…" meanwhile, the accomplice (a woman) blocked his car"s path, reports said.
The night after, this is what happened west of Journal Square:
Corbin and Pavonia Avenues: "…A Jersey City woman was punched in the face when two men tried to rob her of her pocketbook at Corbin and Pavonia avenues…" according to the reports.
