
Bad start for March – looks like Journal Square will be greeted by a nasty weather. Weather forecast says it will snow tomorrow morning with a mix of rain/sleet. Then, at night starting at 6PM, expect the worst as the entire Tri-State will experience winter storm. A severe weather alert has been issued (read the rest of this entry for details) until Monday, warning us of a potential of at least 8 inches of snow!

SNOW… POSSIBLY MIXED WITH SLEET AT TIMES OVER EASTERN CONNECTICUT AND LONG ISLAND WILL DEVELOP SUNDAY EVENING. THE PRECIPITATION WILL CHANGE TO ALL SNOW MONDAY MORNING… AND BE HEAVY AT TIMES… BEFORE TAPERING OFF LATE MONDAY. THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR AT LEAST 8 INCHES OF SNOW ACROSS THE TRI-STATE BY THE TIME THE SNOW COMES TO AN END.
THERE IS STILL SOME UNCERTAINTY AS TO THE EXACT TIMING… STRENGTH… AND TRACK OF THIS LOW… SO EXPECT THE FORECAST TO CHANGE SOMEWHAT AS DETAILS BECOME CLEARER AS THE STORM DRAWS CLOSE.
