This news was reported a little past 12PM, moments before the first of many groups for St. Patrick’s Day Parade (pictures to follow, having some internet issues here) arrived in Journal Square.

SUV crashed into fire hydrant in Jersey City

A Nissan SUV has crashed into a fire hydrant and light pole on Kennedy Boulevard near Newark Avenue in Jersey City, according to witnesses.

The driver has been extricated from the vehicle, according to witnesses.
