If yesterday’s news was about JCPD vs JCPA, today, a tow-truck and a utility truck made the news.
A standoff between the truck drivers started this morning at the parking lot of Burger King on Summit Avenue, Jersey City (map)when E-Z towing company said the utility truck was parked illegally. The driver of utility truck said his passenger was a paying customer “and that he had parked the truck there to fix the truck tire.”
The standoff lasted for 4 hours, news said, when the towing company let go the other vehicle.
I was in the vicinity (Pavonia Avenue) when this happened, but I missed it because I took JFK/Bergen when I walked back home.
