An afternoon glimpse of Academy Street, looking East towards Summit Avenue, Jersey City. By the emptiness of the street, you wouldn’t think this photo was taken during the Friday rush hour.
The traffic on Academy Street is usually heavy particulary in the morning (school days). This street will be piled-up with vehicles in the afternoon and crowded with people during the dismissal of PS-11 (Martin Luther King, Jr. School, left side, not in the photo).
It doesn’t look good outside. It is cloudy, and the weather forecast says there will be showers tonight. We’ll see.
