Journal Square motor vehicles office to be closed tomorrow

Because of the main work United Water announced earlier this week, the Journal Square Motor Vehicle Agency office, 438 Summit Ave., Jersey City, will be closed tomorrow, the state has announced.
“The United Water Company has sent notification that tomorrow they will be working on a local water main all day,” the state said in a news release. “As a result, the MVC Jersey City Agency must be closed due to health code regulations.”
Other area motor vehicles offices are:
*The Bayonne Agency, 1347 Kennedy Blvd. at Route 440 (Family Dollar Plaza), and
*The North Bergen Agency, 8901 Park Plaza (90th Street and Bergenline Avenue).
Check the state Motor Vehicle Commission Web site for for alternate locations.
Regular business hours are expected to resume at the Jersey City Agency at 8 a.m. Monday.
