The route I took on the way home to Journal Square was Pavonia Avenue, and I remembered that I have some photos of the road filed from last month after it was repaved.
This was/is Pavonia Avenue – between Summit Avenue and Chestnut Avenue.

The before picture was taken on the 3rd week of October, and it was nearly two weeks before the city painted the lanes that divide the east-bound and west-bound.
