Iguanas on the loose This happened a day before Christmas Day. The owner’s two iguana pets had gotten loose and knocked over a heat lamp. Nov. 8, 2008 – Summit Avenue and Newkirk Street Last Saturday, November 8, 2008, United Water began the weekly water shut off to fix pipes. Three days later, a water line was struck. So if you noticed water discoloration and low pressure last Tuesday (November 11, 2008), this was the cause. A bit of [...] Heard it on the scanner… “pedestrian struck, vroom and bergen…” It’s the reason why we hear ambulance at around 910PM in Journal Square. I was informed that the victim was a female, and she was “sitting” on the curb. Sounds like a minor injury, but I am not so sure. No update yet from the scanner… [...] Seems like this spot in Journal Square is becoming a cursed spot everyday. :P A blue car’s flasher was on and a police mobile was right behind it past 4PM today when I drove by.
