Due to the water main break that occurred last night, United Water customers must boil water until further notice.

Jersey City Weather: Thunderstorm Watch 07/26/09

As of writing, it is still sunny and hot outside. No signs of bad weather. But according to weather forecast, a strong thunderstorm will hit parts of New York and several NJ Counties including Hudson. Hope there’s no power outage and flooding here in Journal Square tonight.

Memorial Service for Marc DiNardo

People already lined up outside before 1PM

Expect heavy traffic and more people in Journal Square today starting 1PM as there will be a memorial service and public viewing for Detective Marc DiNardo. He was shot in a shootout last week, and was taken off life support a couple of days ago.

PATH Security Screening Starts Today

If you are receiving PATH Alerts, you probably know that starting today, PATH together with Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will be conducting security screening to detect and prevent threats such as bombs.

This will go on for one month.

So for those using the PATH going to NYC, good luck covering your privates!
