Make that two attempted robberies and attacks in two consecutive nights: Wednesday – in the back of Loew’s Theatre just across PATH station; Thursday -at the intersection of Corbin Avenue and Pavonia Avenue, north-west of Journal Square.

In 2008, there was zero murder here in Journal Square. Last year (2009), there were two – one in Marion Neighborhood, and the other just a couple of blocks away.
