As for me, it means morning traffic on Academy Street, Bergen Avenue, and Summit Avenue — and afternoon parking trouble when guardians and parents pick up their [...] Several streets in Journal Square area of Jersey City were closed this morning due to police activity responding to a bomb scare/threat at Stanley Theater (Pavonia Avenue and JFK Boulevard). First of all, I’m glad to be back from 3-week hiatus. I’m officially married and I needed a few weeks to take care of everything. Despite that, I still took some photos while my ex-girlfriend (now wife) was with me. [Original Post 2:45 PM] Glimpse of Newark Avenue’s India Square before the rain this afternoon. Not the usual busy street today. Journal Square Live Music was still on when I drove by, but I don’t know what’s going to happen in the Farmers’ Market as [...] People already lined up outside before 1PM Expect heavy traffic and more people in Journal Square today starting 1PM as there will be a memorial service and public viewing for Detective Marc DiNardo.
