First of all, I’m glad to be back from 3-week hiatus. I’m officially married and I needed a few weeks to take care of everything. [Original Post 2:45 PM] Glimpse of Newark Avenue’s India Square before the rain this afternoon. Not the usual busy street today. Journal Square Live Music was still on when I drove by, but I don’t know what’s going to happen in the Farmers’ Market as [...] People already lined up outside before 1PM Expect heavy traffic and more people in Journal Square today starting 1PM as there will be a memorial service and public viewing for Detective Marc DiNardo. He was shot in a shootout last week, and was taken off life support a couple of days ago. Public viewing at McLaughlin [...] #gallery-1 { New handicap curb ramps can be seen on Sip Avenue (corners of Garrison, Romaine, and Van Wagenen Avenues). Is this part of the repaving funds that Jersey City received last March? A common sight not only in Journal Square, but also in the entire Jersey City: cars parked at bus stop areas. Worse, you’ll also see vehicles double-parked as the drivers rush to store for something, causing delays and congestion on the boulevard.
