New handicap curb ramps can be seen on Sip Avenue (corners of Garrison, Romaine, and Van Wagenen Avenues). Is this part of the repaving funds that Jersey City received last March?



Where Do Buses Stop on the Boulevard?

A common sight not only in Journal Square, but also in the entire Jersey City: cars parked at bus stop areas. Worse, you’ll also see vehicles double-parked as the drivers rush to store for something, causing delays and congestion on the boulevard. (Picture taken across Rite-Aid Pharmacy)

New No. 6 Bus Starts Today in Journal Square

Today, the new No. 6 Bus route begins operating and it will connect more Jersey City residents with the Journal Square area. South of Journal Square, Vroom Street from Van Reypen (West) to Summit Avenue (East) has been ripped up and manholes are raised — road paving will follow soon.

“No Parking” signs have been posted, but I see cars parked on right side of the street.

PATH Security Screening Starts Today

If you are receiving PATH Alerts, you probably know that starting today, PATH together with Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will be conducting security screening to detect and prevent threats such as bombs.

This will go on for one month.

So for those using the PATH going to NYC, good luck covering your privates!
