First of all, HAPPY COLUMBUS DAY! Are you enjoying a day-off, or are you stuck at work? :P Today is considered a state holiday so you better know for government offices that are closed today before you waste your time driving or walking there. Columbus Day Closings: POST OFFICES (Journal Square Branch and Newark Avenue Branch) The bus stop sign on Academy Street, just off of Bergen Avenue has been broken for days now. The picture above shows the sign pushed on one side, next to its sharp base. A concerned Journal Square resident cut the bottom of a plastic bottle and covered the the sharp protrusion so no people would get [...] [UPDATE: October 08, 2008] Cost Mart officially opens this morning. I went inside to look around and my impression of the place: “lite-version” of C.H. Martin (in front of PATH Plaza across JFK Boulevard.)
Taken one morning at around 730AM Do you know why the Wellcare-Medicaid Van always parks in front of C-Town Supermarket on Bergen Avenue? It’s been on specific schedule for the past two weeks already, but I couldn’t get the chance to talk to any person involved. As soon as I gathered an info, I’ll update this [...] Post Office Journal Square Branch Post office near PATH Plaza. This is on Bergen Avenue. It has 5 windows, and 1 extra for parcel retrieval and claims. Sometimes, only 2 of the windows are open. Crowded place, especially during holidays and 5PM closing time.
