Friday the 13th: Continental Plane Crashed in Buffalo

Saw this terrible news this morning on TV — a plane (Continental Flight 3407) that took off from Newark International Airport crashed just before midnight in Buffalo, New York. 49 people were reportedly killed (44 passengers, 4 crew members, 1 on ground). Western Union on Bergen Avenue, just a couple of doors away from the defunct M&B Video at the corner of Vroom Street, has shut its door.

When I saw this tonight, I asked the lady inside what happened, and she answered that the business owners failed to pay the rent. Tough times.
