There’s a power outage in some portions of Journal Square today. On Tuers Avenue, a short power interruption was experienced, and it was restored after 5 to 10 minutes. The reason? The other day, the Jersey Journal announced their endorsements for the city’s mayor and councilmen. Journal Square resident Jimmy King made the list. Jimmy King is pretty popular here. This happened Wednesday (May 6, 2009) and he was pronounced dead at 9:40PM at his place at Pavonia Avenue and Van Wagenen Avenue.
