What’s something good to do on a snow storm? Take some pictures! On my way home, I took a few shots of Journal Square to document the first significant snow storm of winter. Cottage Street and John F. Kennedy Boulevard Around 4PM during a stop at Cottage and JFK Boulevard. Five Corners – Summit Avenue It was rainy this morning in Journal Square; just look at the picture above – it was unbelievably dark at 8AM. This was at Five Corners (Summit Avenue), I was heading north of Jersey City, avoiding the boulevard. Why? Find out by reading the rest. :P (Photos included) I just witnessed a failed mugging at Tuers Avenue and Academy Street. An old man was shoved to the ground by two teenagers who asked money from him. Nothing was taken from him since he had no money. When the old man started shouting, another man (let’s call him Joe) and I came to assist, [...] Yesterday afternoon – in the rain, some contractors installed wreaths around Journal Square. I’m almost positive that these decors can only be seen on major JSQ roads (ie. the Boulevard and Bergen). Looks like the SID is already preparing for Christmas.
