Photo taken May 9, 2010 Last month, Bally Total Fitness Gym on Bergen Avenue closed due to fire. The adjacent business – Ashley Stewart Clothing Store for Womens – was affected. Both of them still remain shut down more than a month after the incident. Officially open – Feb. 2nd, 2009 After so many postponements, BALLY TOTAL FITNESS officially opened its gym to their members. Two weeks ago, the staff said they will open February 2nd this year, and Jersey City residents still doubted their words. However, BALLY didn’t fail this time.
