Christmas Decors and Lights at Chestnut and Elizabeth St. Have you been around Journal Square to see the beautiful Christmas lights and decors of the houses? I took these pictures about two weeks ago, before the pre-winter snow storm hit the East Coast. Bye Bye Wreaths! Saw this on Bergen Avenue… Christmas wreaths that adorned light poles around Journal Square were being taken down, and the contractors were putting the “NEW Journal Square” banners back up. I am under the impression that the city is going to use the same ornaments next year. MVC Schedule for Christmas DMV-MVC Journal Square Branch has their Christmas schedule posted on the front door. They are open today, but will be closed tomorrow, December 25, 2008 in observance of Christmas holiday. They will re-open on December 26, 2008.
Post Office Schedules for Christmas Holiday Post Office Journal Square Branch posted their schedule for the Christmas holidays. They will be open for half a day on the 24th, and 26th.
