Photo taken May 9, 2010 Last month, Bally Total Fitness Gym on Bergen Avenue closed due to fire. The adjacent business – Ashley Stewart Clothing Store for Womens – was affected. Both of them still remain shut down more than a month after the incident. A fire last weekend displaced a family. News said that the Fire Department had the incident under control after a little over 30 minutes. News said that it was due to aircon that overheated. No one was injured but the building had to be evacuated due to smoke.
