If you’ve walked along Newark Avenue, you probably have seen this plant/flower boxes installed at the cross-streets. The photos above (taken last month, Jul 29) are flower boxes from India Square, between JFK and Tonnelle Avenue.

Jersey City Weather: Thunderstorm Watch 07/26/09

As of writing, it is still sunny and hot outside. No signs of bad weather. But according to weather forecast, a strong thunderstorm will hit parts of New York and several NJ Counties including Hudson. Hope there’s no power outage and flooding here in Journal Square tonight.

Police Activity at Journal Square PATH? Relax, There’s No Crime

If you are wondering why there are so many cops at Journal Square PATH station, you probably didn’t know that today is the funeral mass for the fallen Jersey City Detective Marc DiNardo. He was shot in the face during the shootout last week and died in the hospital days later.
