Originally, the Journal Square Redevelopment Plan — dubbed as the “Vision” — covered a wider territory of our district. It was scaled down, though, after hearing what the residents have to say.

A fire last weekend displaced a family. News said that the Fire Department had the incident under control after a little over 30 minutes.
Jersey City Accident: Woman Struck By Truck
Saw police cars on my way to the laundromat on Bergen. Apparently, there’s an accident at JFK Boulevard and Newark Avenue, north of Journal Square PATH station. A woman was struck by a pickup truck and is in critical condition at Jersey City Medical Center.
