Weeks after the horrific accident at the boulevard and St. Paul’s Avenue, another speeding incident occurred at the same main road and Bond Street claiming the life of a 47-year old musician from Bayonne.



Pedestrian Killed in Alleged Drag Racing

Two brothers are involved in an alleged drag racing incident that killed a pedestrian last night (July 12, 2011) at 10:45PM, according to NJ.com.

7-Eleven (7-11) JFK Boulevard Jersey City

This is the newest 7-Eleven (7-11) store in Journal Square. It opened sometime in October 2010, less than a year after the first 7-11 opened in December 2009 at the corner of Sip Avenue and Bergen Avenue.

Now Open: Apna Bazaar Cash and Carry in Jersey City

APNA BAZAAR Cash and Carry finally opened yesterday (May 6, 2010) after what seems an eternity of  building construction. This Apna Bazaar is different from the one on Newark Avenue, just a couple of blocks north of Indian Square.

JSQ Redevelopment Scaled Down; Planning Board Will Meet with Residents

Originally, the Journal Square Redevelopment Plan — dubbed as the “Vision” — covered a wider territory of our district. It was scaled down, though, after hearing what the residents have to say.
