Last June, I posted that Tiffin Box on the boulevard (between Cottage Street and Newark Avenue, Jersey City) shut down after less than a year of operation.

Sidewalk Sale Sign on Academy Street, Jersey City
This photo was taken Thursday night, hours before hurricane Danny (good thing it weakened) hit the East Coast this weekend. It still rained and the sign was ripped down.
Journal Square Restaurant: Jimmy’s Pizza
Just over a year ago, Big Cheese and Deli and Pizza opened on Bergen Avenue. Yesterday, I noticed that the front sign has been changed to “Jimmy’s Pizza” with a logo of a chicken that says “Rotisserie Chicken” underneath.
A quick peek through the shutters, I saw a sign that says “New owner“.
