A small portion (Five Corners to Central Avenue) of Newark Avenue, Jersey City was blocked off to traffic this afternoon. But when [...] Saw police cars on my way to the laundromat on Bergen. Apparently, there’s an accident at JFK Boulevard and Newark Avenue, north of Journal Square PATH station. A woman was struck by a pickup truck and is in critical condition at Jersey City Medical Center. The streets will be blocked off and a stage will be installed. Expect cultural dances and Indian food until wee hours. Navratri Festival in Jersey City Last June, I posted that Tiffin Box on the boulevard (between Cottage Street and Newark Avenue, Jersey City) shut down after less than a year of operation.
