Several streets in Journal Square area of Jersey City were closed this morning due to police activity responding to a bomb scare/threat at Stanley Theater (Pavonia Avenue and JFK Boulevard).

People already lined up outside before 1PM Expect heavy traffic and more people in Journal Square today starting 1PM as there will be a memorial service and public viewing for Detective Marc DiNardo. He was shot in a shootout last week, and was taken off life support a couple of days ago. Public viewing at McLaughlin [...] I saw a group of teens (around 10-15 teens, some not in the picture) cleaning up streets and curb this morning on Tuers Avenue. This is not the first time I saw people cleaning up sidewalks of Journal Square this summer.
