Five Corners – Summit Avenue It was rainy this morning in Journal Square; just look at the picture above – it was unbelievably dark at 8AM. This was at Five Corners (Summit Avenue), I was heading north of Jersey City, avoiding the boulevard. Why? Bergen Avenue corner Newkirk Street This was the sight this morning on Bergen Avenue in Journal Square, Jersey City during the rush hour. Minor delay, as the normal two lanes on both directions became one.
