How is the snow situation in your area? Did you get out of your house, or just sleep it off? Snowman on Newkirk Street The pre-winter storm yesterday (December 19th, 2009) dumped at least 15 inches of snow in Journal Square, probably 18 inches in some areas of Jersey City, and it clearly outmatched the first snow storm of the season on December 4th. I was able to drive around and take some pictures of the [...] Academy Street (around 8AM), looking East of Journal Square Isn’t it ironic that we experience snow first day of Spring? Fortunately, the snow will stop this morning according to JC forecast, but it will be chilly the rest of the day. Jersey Journal Building The overnight storm wasn’t as bad as anticipated. Journal Square didn’t receive a foot of snow. Today,past 2PM, I decided to go out and take a walk around the neighborhood despite the windy weather. Check out the photos inside this post. Click to view larger size. Bad start for March – looks like Journal Square will be greeted by a nasty weather. Weather forecast says it will snow tomorrow morning with a mix of rain/sleet.
