Sign is gone, shutters are down. Seems like Vito’s Arcade Barbershop on Summit Avenue near Five Corners is gone. Earlier this week, I saw the sign on the ground in front of the closed shop. I drove by the other day, saw the sign gone. Barbershop still shut. What kind of Jersey City business will replace [...] Originally, the Journal Square Redevelopment Plan — dubbed as the “Vision” — covered a wider territory of our district. A standoff between the truck drivers started this morning at the parking lot of Burger King on Summit Avenue, Jersey City (map)when E-Z towing company said the utility truck was parked illegally. The driver of utility truck said [...] Wow, I wish I saw this “childish” fight between Jersey City cop and Jersey City Parking Authority inspector yesterday morning. According to the news, the scuffle started at DMV/MVC office, when 35-year old JCPA inspector Raymond J. Manzo wanted the office to open and the JCPD officer Alexander Rivera said he had to wait.
