Huge pile up on John F. Kennedy Boulevard during afternoon rush hour

At around 440PM, I got stuck in traffic south bound of JFK Boulevard. The traffic stretched from Heights area of Jersey City to south of the boulevard, and I wondered if there’s something going on on the square.

You probably have noticed this street repairs on Newark Avenue today. It was reported the other day, and this construction required shutting off water. Thus, Five Corners Library was forced to close for a day.

Early Morning Closure on Sip Avenue

This morning, I noticed the orange cones blocking Sip Avenue (West) corner Bergen Avenue. Policemen were patrolling the area, and the traffic light kept blinking yellow. Renovation at 2877 Kennedy Boulevard

Near Pavonia Avenue

After a quick research, I learned that the renovation was due to the “chunk of decorative facade” that fell from the building which is the “home to a string of stores at Journal Square in Jersey City Saturday afternoon…”
