How is the snow situation in your area? Did you get out of your house, or just sleep it off? It was a beautiful day in Jersey City: sunny and not too cold, blue skies but partly cloudy. So I went to Duane Reader at Journal Square PATH Station and bought some stuff. On the way home, I decided to walk around Vroom Street. I noticed shattered glasses on Tuers Avenue (see pic above) and [...] I saw a group of teens (around 10-15 teens, some not in the picture) cleaning up streets and curb this morning on Tuers Avenue. This is not the first time I saw people cleaning up sidewalks of Journal Square this summer. A couple of days ago, I saw another group (older) on Newkirk Street and [...] There’s a power outage in some portions of Journal Square today. On Tuers Avenue, a short power interruption was experienced, and it was restored after 5 to 10 minutes. The reason? DMV/MVC Building at 438 Summit Avenue corner Sip Avenue lost power.The state building was evacuated at 830AM this morning and people were standing outside as officials [...] |
