In 2008, there was zero murder here in Journal Square. Last year (2009), there were two – one in Marion Neighborhood, and the other just a couple of blocks away.

A Van Wagenen woman died after she was shot by a cop responding to a domestic dispute. What a terrible week for Jersey City as far as crime is concerned.
