The Jersey Journal (JJ) asks today why the redevelopment of Journal Square is taking so long. The editorial points the finger to the Special Improvement District (SID) – the agency responsible for the beautification of our district, including the promotion of local businesses.
In 2008, there was zero murder here in Journal Square. Last year (2009), there were two – one in Marion Neighborhood, and the other just a couple of blocks away.
So I got the chance to drive around at 11PM last night and noticed that it was probably the garbage pickup schedule on Bergen Avenue based on the amount of trash on the road. (Sorry for the crappy pic, that’s the best I can do :P )
If you are one of those who feel that there’s some sort of mystery to September 11 (9/11) terrorist attack eight years ago, you might want to see this film documentary at Five Corners Library this Saturday.

Crossing John F. Kennedy Boulevard? Don’t forget to look left and right before doing so! According to Hudson News, “Kennedy Boulevard and Avenue C are Hudson County’s most dangerous roads for pedestrians ….”
